Hello & Welcome!
My name is Karen and I am a bookaholic 😉
I enjoy reading New Adult, Adult Contemporary/Erotic Romance, PNR, and Romantic Suspense – I would most definitely say that my knowledge base lies with these genres in particular.
I come from a home filled with books, and ever since I was a girl, I was encouraged to read as often as possible – “You’re never bored when you’re getting lost within the pages of a wonderful book,” my grandmother used to say, and how wise she was. Naturally, I call books my first and everlasting love – a bit nerdy, perhaps, but that is how I feel.
I have studied English at the University Of Copenhagen, and I have always wanted to be a professional editor.
What I can guarantee should you choose me to be your editor:
These are words I live by every day.
Furthermore, I am well versed in both American English and British English – meaning, that I use two kinds of Encylopedias for references: The Merriam-Webster Dictionary & Thesaurus; and The Oxford English Dictionary.
I would like to add that I have been a beta reader for different authors, each with their own unique voice, and besides loving their work, it has been wonderful to know that my comments and suggestions have been taken seriously – and the fact that they have allowed me to correct their grammatical errors as well has been a very enjoyable and fulfilling experience every time.
A couple of years ago, I set out on a new journey within the indie publishing world – writing and publishing my own book. It has been quite an experience, to say the least, and while I will never stop writing, I still love to be an editor and am very passionate about helping authors succeeding in their endeavours.
You are more than welcome to contact me if you have any concerns or/and questions, of course – you can email me at: email@example.com. And if you just want to say “Hello”, I would love that as well.
I look forward to hearing from you!
